What We Do
Commercial structural steel is where the Vicsteel team does its heaviest lifting. Clear-span trusses up to 36 metres, multi-level erection in tight urban sites, plant platforms that span half a football field — this is our bread and butter.
We handle fabrication, galvanising coordination, transport logistics, and installation end-to-end. If a project needs three cranes on site simultaneously, we've done it. If it requires working within an occupied building, we've done that too.
Speed matters in commercial construction. When we tell a builder we'll be off site on a certain day, we mean it. The Telix Pharmaceuticals job in North Melbourne — platform day 1, walls and roof day 2, grating day 3. Three days from first iron to last grating.
